What started as a small experiment in our home kitchen slowly grew into something much bigger than we ever expected.
A fewyears ago we began baking sourdough simply because we wanted better bread on our own table. Like most sourdough journeys, it started with curiosity — learning how flour, water and wild yeast work together, and discovering the patience that real bread requires.
One loaf turned into many. Our kitchen began filling with the unmistakable aroma of fresh sourdough, and before long we were sharing bread with family and friends. Their encouragement – and frequent requests for “just one more loaf” – eventually led us to start a small micro-bakery.
As the demand for our bread grew, we eventually moved the operation out of our home kitchen and into our own dedicated bakery space. While the setting may have changed, the way we bake has remained exactly the same — small batches, careful hands, and the time that real sourdough requires.
Today we bake a small range of handcrafted sourdough products including white sourdough, traditional whole-wheat sourdough, rye blends, blueberry sourdough, naturally fermented pizza dough balls, and our own sourdough starter for those who want to begin their own journey.
Our approach remains deliberately simple.
Every loaf is made using only flour, water, and sea salt. There are no additives, no preservatives, and no shortcuts. The dough is slowly fermented over time, allowing the natural cultures to develop flavour, structure, and digestibility in the way bread has been made for centuries.
Sourdough is alive. It responds to temperature, time, and careful handling. Every batch requires attention — from the first mix to the final bake — and that hands-on process is part of what makes each loaf unique.
Although our bakery has grown beyond those first experiments at our kitchen table, the philosophy remains the same: honest bread, made slowly, in small batches, with care.
Bread, after all, is one of the simplest foods in the world — but when it is made properly, it is also one of the most satisfying.
